How Compute-AR handles account, rental, provider and payment information.
Who this policy covers
Compute-Ar cloud Services operates Compute-AR, providing GPU rental sourcing, provisioning and account management at compute-ar.co. This policy describes information handled through this website when you browse, create an account, request compute, rent capacity or apply to supply GPUs. Contact Compute-Ar cloud Services at billing@compute-ar.co about privacy.
Information we handle
Account information includes your email, username, authentication-provider identifiers and linked wallet address. Clerk handles password-based authentication and password recovery; Compute-AR does not store your Clerk password or recovery codes in its customer ledger. Google or GitHub sign-in supplies the identity and profile information made available through the configured sign-in permissions.
Rental and billing records include requested GPU configuration, location, connection method, selected models or apps, setup instructions, quotes, accepted minimums, usage, invoices, payment status and payment or mandate references. Provider applications include contact information, GPU specifications, hosting details, availability, rates and verification information you submit.
We also handle support correspondence and operational information such as connection details, IP addresses, request timestamps and security or error logs where generated by our application, hosting or authentication services. Do not put passwords, API keys or sensitive datasets in free-text setup requests.
Why we use information
We use information to authenticate users, keep customer accounts separate, respond to requests, source and provision compute, deliver access details, meter usage, administer payments and provider relationships, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud or misuse.
Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, these activities rely on performing or preparing the service agreement, meeting applicable legal obligations, and legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. Where an optional activity requires consent, we will request it and you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Services and people that receive information
Clerk handles authentication. Google and GitHub handle their respective social sign-in flows. Pulze handles checkout and payment authorization. Wallet providers and public blockchain networks may process wallet connections or transactions you authorize. Transactions recorded on a public blockchain may remain publicly visible and cannot be removed by Compute-AR.
Hosting and email delivery services receive information needed to run the website and deliver account, provisioning or billing messages. Our email delivery integration supports Resend. Authorized operators and the GPU provider fulfilling your rental may receive the configuration and operational information needed to provision and support it. Infrastructure providers may have technical access to workloads running on their systems; do not assume rented infrastructure is suitable for regulated or highly sensitive data without a separate agreement.
Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect users and the service against fraud or abuse. Service providers may process information in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply; contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your request.
Cookies and browser storage
Clerk uses cookies needed for sign-in and session management. Compute-AR also uses browser storage for legacy wallet sessions and wallet connection state. These support account access and security. Clearing them may sign you out. Wallet and payment services may use their own cookies when you interact with them. If optional tracking that requires consent is introduced, it will be identified and consent requested where required.
Retention, security and your workloads
Account information is kept while needed to operate your account and resolve related matters. Rental, payment and invoice records may need to remain after account closure for accounting, legal, dispute and fraud-prevention purposes. Operational logs are kept for troubleshooting and security as needed. Contact us for the retention period applicable to a particular record or a deletion request.
We use access controls and verified identities to limit account access, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your account, wallet and instance credentials secure. Workload storage, backups and deletion depend on the rented infrastructure and agreed configuration. Export your data before stopping a rental and ask about deletion or backup requirements before placing sensitive information on a host.
Your choices and requests
You can manage supported sign-in methods through your account profile. To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to processing, email billing@compute-ar.co. We may need to verify account ownership. These rights depend on applicable law, and some records must be retained for legal or legitimate operational reasons. Deleting an authentication profile does not itself erase invoices, blockchain transactions or all infrastructure data.
You may complain to the relevant data-protection authority where applicable. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice of material changes where required.
